Public opinion in the US in recent days has been particularly interested in the noise surrounding the FBI’s search of former President Donald Trump’s private home in Palm Beach, Florida.
The US Department of Justice said that during the search on August 8, FBI agents seized many confidential documents at the Trump family’s Mar-a-Lago residence and are investigating the possibility that the second president
Experts point out a number of possible reasons why Mr. Trump is concerned about the FBI search.
First, the US Department of Justice’s public search of former President Trump’s home shows that the risk of him being criminally charged is very high.
Second, the search warrant is also based on suspicion that Mr. Trump may violate the Espionage Act.

FBI agents seized 11 boxes of confidential documents during a search of the Mar-a-Lago mansion early last week.
Although the Espionage Act does not classify national defense-related information as classified, if documents seized at Mar-a-Lago contained national defense-related information, they would fall within the scope of the law.
Finally, Mr. Trump could face the risk of being charged with obstructing a federal investigation by concealing documents related to that investigation.
To date, Mr. Trump continues to deny the allegations and claims that the Justice Department’s investigation is `politically motivated.`
Meanwhile, US authorities also did not make public the list of documents taken from Mr. Trump’s private residence.
The documents the FBI found during last week’s raid were not the first secret documents US officials found at Mar-a-Lago.
