The Miss World 2014 final night lasted two hours at the Excel London Convention and Exhibition Center, England, from 10:00 p.m. on December 14 (Hanoi time).
Rolene Strauss could not hide her happiness when receiving the crown from Miss World 2013 Megan Young.
The 22-year-old South African beauty is 1.77 m tall and was crowned Miss South Africa 2014 in April. She is currently a fourth-year medical student at the Free State University of Bloemfontein, South Africa.

In the finale, Rolene wore an evening gown embellished with more than 3,000 crystals.
The first runner-up is Hungarian beauty Edina Kulcsar, 23 years old.
The remaining contestants in the Top 10 come from Mexico, Kenya, Brazil, Guyana and India.

Vietnamese representative Nguyen Thi Loan was named in the Top 25 most beautiful people of the contest.
The finale opened with a performance of Dance of the World.
Two contestants from Malaysia and Scotland performed their talents for the judges to find the winner.
The Miss World final program is quite simple, there are no evening gown or bikini competitions, but only results announcement and behavior competition before the winner is named.
