With 20 years of driving experience, I would like to share a few opinions about the reasons leading to the appearance of `crazy cars` sweeping the road.
“Crazy car” often happens when the driver is startled and confused when encountering an incident on the road.
“Crazy car” often happens to automatic transmission cars.
At that time, the car will not continue to run but the engine will only roar because the clutch has been completely cut off.
So how to avoid this situation?
We also know that pilots are often mentioned as people with strong nerves and good handling of situations when abnormalities occur.
As for our current driver’s license training, there are some shortcomings.
At that time, learner drivers also learn about car structure and how to diagnose, handle or repair common small damages.
What about now?
Nowadays, getting a driver’s license is no longer as difficult as before.

I think, with the current type of superficial driving training and easy issuance of driver’s licenses, there will still be many tragic incidents.
First: Strengthen supervision of training and driving license testing.
Second: Consult with experts in driving training as well as other countries to adjust the curriculum and tests to be closer to the actual situation in Vietnam, highly practical and require more skills.
Third: Strictly control the practice time (number of practice hours) of students before taking the exam, adding many lessons on handling emergencies and abnormalities for students to practice and experience as well as making it mandatory
Fourth: Organize periodic retraining tests within a certain period of time after being granted a license. You can organize a small test on driving skills and emergency handling after 5 years or when changing your license.
Fifth: The police not only set up fixed checkpoints but also need to increase patrols and monitor the activities of vehicles on the road, in order to proactively detect and handle drunk drivers.
